Entries are now open for the Belgian Sponsorship Awards 2025. The jury will evaluate sponsorship cases in sports, arts and the societal sphere that took place in Belgium over the past year, recognising the most innovative and effective partnerships in the market.

The 2025 jury will be chaired by Filip Waegemans, Sponsorship Expert at SKAUT. With his extensive experience in sponsorship strategy and evaluation, he brings both continuity and expertise to this year’s panel.

“Sponsorship continues to evolve as a strategic growth driver for brands and rightsholders alike,” says Waegemans. “Our jury brings together professionals from brands, rightsholders, agencies and academia, ensuring a broad and independent perspective when assessing the cases.”

The Belgian Sponsorship Awards 2025 jury consists of 12 experienced industry professionals:

• Carine Dewier – Sponsoring Partnership Manager, Proximus
• Marko Heijl – Sports Marketing & Corporate Communications, Soudal
• Jos Verschueren – Programme Director Sports, Esports and Cycling Management, VUB

Together, they represent a balanced mix of strategic, creative, commercial and academic expertise across the Belgian sponsorship ecosystem.

The deadline for entries is March 8 and the jury will invite selected cases to make a live virtual 10-minute presentation to the jury. Nominees will be announced after that, with the ceremony held on the evening of April 23 following the SponsorLive conference at the Proximus Lounge in Evere that day.
