SponsorLive, the annual summit of the European Sponsorship Association, is proud to unveil the first speakers for the 2025 edition taking place on April 23 in the Proximus Lounge in Evere. The conference will once again bring together leading experts from the sponsorship, sports and marketing industries for a day of insights, inspiration and high-level networking.

Two keynote sessions will headline the programme.

Birger De Geyter from Shikenso will present “Benchmarking the Belgian Sponsorship Landscape – Insights from Cycling, Basketball & Football.” His keynote will provide a data-driven overview of the Belgian sponsorship market, offering valuable benchmarks and cross-sport insights for brands, rightsholders and agencies.

David Grunewald (Pluginto.ai) will take the stage with “From One Logo to a Thousand Stories – AI’s Impact on Creative Personalisation in Sports Sponsorship.” His session will explore how artificial intelligence is transforming sponsorship activation, enabling brands to move beyond logo visibility towards scalable, personalised storytelling.

In addition to the keynotes, SponsorLive 2025 will feature two engaging round table discussions.

“The New Voices of Sport – How Creators Are Redefining Sports Communication” brings together the well known Bavo Mortier, Bert De Backer and Charles Masset to discuss how digital creators and athlete-driven content are reshaping the way fans engage with sport and how brands can adapt their sponsorship strategies accordingly.

In “Sponsorship as a Growth Engine – Decades of Sponsorship, One Strategic Vision,” Liselotte Bierhoff from Nike and Caspar Van Nieuwenhuizen (former Nike) will share long-term perspectives on building sponsorship into a sustainable growth driver, highlighting the importance of strategic consistency and evolution over time.
