After obtaining a master degree in Physical Education and Sport Organisations Management at the UCL he pursued his studies with an executive master in sport management (Memos) while working for the Climbing and Mountaineering federation. Olek works now for more than a decade as the Managing Director of the Belgian Paralympic Committee.
During his career, he acquired experience in General Management, Marketing and sponsorship contracts with all major partners of Paralympic Team Belgium.
On the sport side, he was appointed Chef the Mission for the belgian paralympic delegation of Rio 2016, PyeongChang 2018, Tokyo 2020, Beijing 2022, Paris 2024 and Milano Cortina 2026 Paralympic Games.
